Idea Final Map Day Plan (last thread on this I swear)

Hi Brawlers!
As you all of course know, I've been very excited about my Old Timer's Day idea. It used to be an idea for once a week, then once a month, but I found out from reactions that that wouldn't really work. I have changed this idea to a one-time event. This is now meant to be a one-time event. I will tell all the details that I have.
-It would be on probably a Sunday, when most people are home.

-It would be a 24-hour thing, like freeday, so ALL timezones would get a chance.

-It would involve maps that:
A: haven't been played for a long time, like maps from wave 1-7. Maps like Slums, Canyon, Moria, Airlock,
Air Balloons, Citadel, you name it. I know that people would like to play on those maps to remember old times from McPvP, and this way you can play these.
B: are old(er) versions of maps. Like the original of Clocktower, Desert Strike, Kill Creek, Aquafus. This could be fun to do, to compare original maps with maps of today.
C: have not (yet) been selected for the waves. If a person's map doesn't get selected, and they get bummed out, this way we could still do those maps, but just for today.

-Old/Original maps would get mixed with new/unselected maps.

-A rotation would like this:
Game starts.
1: Air Balloons -old map
2: Kill Creek I -original map
3: Conquest -unselected map by Pavocado
Match over. Next game.

Game starts.
1: Aquafus I -original map
2: Pirate's Cove -unselected map by GoToBed
3: Slums -old map
Match over. Next game.

Game starts.
1: Undercover (Lowrise II) -not (yet?) selected map by Wizzlol707 *hint hint*
2: Metro -old map
3: Highrise -original map
Match over. Next game. And so on, and so on.

We would do this for 24 hours.

-If it's a 2-game match, then we can EITHER just say 'screw it' OR we can do the third map anyway, just for the fun.

-The week before the event we can have an ad that says something like: 'CTF Map day this Sunday!'

-If this idea gets selected, I'll help the staff with a map list and rotation idea for the WHOLE thing.

-Gameplay and rules would be as normal.

-The 'did you like this map? Yes or no?' thing at the end of a game would get removed for today.

Like I said, I know I've posted this idea before, but I would REALLY like to have this one-time event. I'll help as much as I can with rotation idea's, map lists and stuff. Please tell me what you think of this idea in the chat, but PLEASE don't tell me 'why are you making this thread again?' This is the last time I'll post this topic, promise. But anyways, if you have any ideas to this plan (or perhaps an unselected map you've made) please, feel free! That's what the comments section is for!

but on the other hand, it's kind of nice to play those old maps, even if they're crummy. The idea of this day is to be able to play maps that have been removed. I know the maps are horrible, but it would be cool to have one official day of playing them.

And by the way, I'll also add some maps to the list that people recommend!

 

I fully understand what you mean, but people like @SoCool21 said that they wouldn't like it if these stuff get played once a month. The fact that it would now be a one-time event, that kind of cancels out their opinion.

 

Some people just don't read the details.....

 

*sigh* yes, Ok I got it. I want to get rid of those altogether, delete them, but it won't LET ME!! I want to start all over, recreate my idea, just get RID of the old ones. But thanks for trying to help.
