    I know, I'm just saying that I agree with him. You complain about the maps being bad, while you haven't done anything to help improve that. You haven't exactly really made a map yourself.

    All sarcastic comments aside, I agree with the many people already that have said that this is a pointless post. It doesn't contribute anything new to the debate, and some of the stuff you're complaining about is totally fine. I know it gets annoying to have sarcastic comments posted on your thread, but you makes snappy comments back is just making the situation 10 times worse. Might I suggest instead of bringing up the same old points, you come up with a way to solve the problems you seem to see. This way, you'd be contributing something new to the debate.

    Other than a complaint post, there is some meaning to it in a way. It could be a thread to bring awareness, but overall there is nothing for improvement in this thread.

    Edit: Looking back at your OP, it seems you would like to play a version of CTF with only Heavy, Medic, Necro, Engineer and Chemist.
    I don't think that's happening anytime soon.

    Me play a version of CTF with only those classes you listed? Where did you pull that from, Salty_Darwin? I think you've made enough theories for a lifetime. Btw your signature is super cool (sarcasm). All you've done is post negative excrement on numerous threads, and a good portion has nothing to reason why.

    Good to see people getting along so well as normal. I don't see how flaming each other would solve the problems you want to address. Might cause more though.

    I'm honestly quite surprised you haven't changed anything to contructively correct the issues you've stated. I hoped my last post would have drawn your attention to it, but nevertheless -
    We all are aware of these problems, what do you think we can actually do about them?

    As pointless as 9016/Parmellith or whatever.

    How about you suggest your first idea to fix one of the things that are "wrong" with CTF?
    Oh, wait, you can't because you're brain dead.

    Here, I'll start you off with some ideas (woah me being nice? tf?)

    Mage:
    Removing knockback on damage spell is something people who hate mage really want as if every single one hits you you basically can't move. However, removing it would severely damage the mage's survival capability as its healing is already gimmicky enough (heals enemies, takes time, might miss, etc.). Perhaps swap out some of the 4.5 hearts on damage spell for some pure damage in addition to the normal damage? Probably around the range of 1 heart to 1.5 hearts pure and 3 hearts normal. This would allow the mage to survive against heavies as the damage spell does <1 heart to them, in addition to many other classes.

    Ninja:
    Eggspam is becoming more and more of a nuisance nowadays. I understand if the ninja misses the first two and would like blindness on the target but spamming them face-on is pretty annoying. Perhaps limit them to 4 or 5 and give them a way of getting them back without a medic? Perhaps 2-3 per kill, a system like the medic has, or one per use of the pearl.

    Pyro:
    I can't agree less on how annoying setting your teammates on fire can possibly be but unless you're defending it won't happen that often. Usually there's a medic on defense anyways so you'll be fine but in the cases where there aren't one... In other words, it's not that big of an issue.
    What is an issue in my opinion is the range of the bow. I believe it should be limited to ~20 blocks because it's like setting someone on fire indefinitely from afar.

    Archer:
    Removing its instakill would cause chaos in the competitive scene as sometimes it is the only way to recover. Bowspam is pretty annoying though.
    Someone, I can't remember who, has suggested before to limit the amount of arrows an archer has, with ways of getting them back without a medic. This would limit bowspam quite a bit but still makes it plausible.
    My personal suggestion is to remove punch, give it power 2 and pure damage 25+ blocks instead of instakill. This is 8.75 hearts I think, as well as remove the ability to fire arrows without the bow being pulled back to the max.

    Soldier:
    Soldier is fine as-is but someone before has suggested, again, I can't remember who, that the mana does not recharge midair. Imo this is perfect.

    Chemist:
    Remove the damn "slowness" pots.

    @Salty_Ivan Stop being a dew claw. Just because you don't like me doesn't mean you get to throw every negative thing about CTF and replace it with my name. And besides I've given plenty of suggestions. How about you go read them, instead of whining about how I allegedly "don't contribute." And why remove the slowness pots? I'm probably the only one who actually uses them.

    Also, ninja shouldn't be allowed to go invisible once in combat. It's annoying and it already is hard enough to kill them once you've been egg(spammed).

    Give archer a stronger sword, and put knockback on it so it will have a better chance to win melee fights, and make the bow only fire when fully drawn, and/or give it less arrows with a medic to restore them (or something among those lines that I might've read). Also if we buff the sword, remove Punch from the bow. And also, if it must keep the instakill, increase the range to 40+ blocks (I would say at least 45). Or do what Salty said about the pure damage at 25+ blocks. I'm cool with that.

    Medic needs some sort of buff, I never see any when I actually need one. But it should have a cooldown on those webs. I hate people who spam them. I'd say give the sword a buff but I don't know what to do with that.

    Elf needs a cooldown on that wind element, it's honestly dumb. But upgrade its elements to some sort of wand-like thing (not to make mage obsolete), without the arrow. Combine pure and earth element into one.

    I'll stop with the negativity.

    I've never seen you use them.

    I don't find this to be a problem. It already isn't able to go invis for ~1 second after landing a hit. If you're talking about them going invisible when you jump them while they regen, I see it as a substitute for the lack of armor and instant healing.

    +1 except for a stronger Archer sword. It's not a melee class but knockback would be fine. For the Medic sword, perhaps add back Sharpness 1 but in exchange remove some of its health pool.

    I don't play enough elf or know how to play elf well enough to comment on that.
