Idea Should Cross-Teaming be Punishable in CTF?

I don't think it should be bc it's usually just regulars chilling with friends, and they are harmless.

 

If you don't like them cross-teaming, just kill them (heck, that's what I do)

 

It's not like its a major problem, it might cause a bit of confusion within the flagroom. But as Chaos said just simply kill them, it would also be very stupid to punish someone just for standing in someone else's flagroom. Hence this won't be added.

 

I don't think it should be punishable due to the fact that a lot of times its just someone hanging out with their friends. If it really does bother someone, just kill them. It's a simple answer.

I don't really see it as much, it should not be first priority

 

I think we first have to warn for it and then next is ban to make sure people follow rules and have fun and be nice to each other.

It depends.

One time, I was about to escape an enemy flagroom with a flagroom a few days ago on Oppostie Collide and a medic from my own team started webbing me and did not heal me at all. While I can punch the webs to destroy them, it still slowed me down by like 3-4 seconds because he spammed me with all of his webs, and the enemy defense caught up and killed me. This went on for the rest of the game and I feel like that shouldn't be allowed. Now for regular cross teaming of just chilling and doing nothing, that's fine but purposely slowing down your own team with webs or burning them with flint & steel as pyro is annoying and should be punishable.

 

This is a big no-no. If this happened to me I'd be so pissed xD

 

The community is my reason to say no to making this punishable. Most of the community know each other and a lot just want to chill in game.

 

Im ok with chilling and hanging in the other team's flagroom. However if you help the other team by doing the things tht @Claod mentioned that I believe should be pubishable

 

I personally don't mind it because only one person can attack you. However there was a case where someone from my team got me stuck in some web while his friend attacked me. That I did mind. I think it should only tolerated if they are not working together to take out an opponet. Because this is attacking one of your team members.

 

I don't mind it a little bit, even though I am not friendly and will kill them anyway. If they do it excessively and every single time they're on the game (I know people who actually don't play the game to play the game), then it should be punishable. I think that because the community is small and it's usually people on one server playing, and it often gets full. People who are just chilling are taking the opportunity away from people who actually want to play. Also other servers often don't have enough people for the game to start, or any people at all. Also, not everyone wants to or is able to pay online just to override the max players slot. Yes, I don't mind cross-teaming, but people who do it for a living make me want to wring their necks.
