Necro- whos mans/class is this [Complaint/ideas?]

    So, I just looked at the necro class as it is now.
    Kinda played it a little (not really).
    You people took 2 networks and 4 years to redo this class and you come up with this?

    Mob beacons? Really? What am I, a guy with a piece of fish trying to get a cat to follow me?
    Hit the mobs to buff them? Eh? That'd be great if they'd attack anyone.
    5 mob limit? What is this, my phone bill? Are there going to be mob overage fees?
    Oh and the AI is still awful and the class is no fun. I want to do cool stuff, not farm kills to try and buff mobs and see if they actually do something.
    Playing his class is like watching animals at the zoo without the cute factor... oh look the zombie almost got him but he took a sponge away... great
    oh look the skeleton is in a crowd of people and... he's chasing a ninja instead of going for them... great

    I can count on both hands the number of kills with necro and the times I have been killed by a mob in some 6 years playing CTF. This new rework is... meh. Still haven't been killed by a mob. Still haven't taken more than 5 hearts damage from a mob actually.

    I saw a post from @Pizze saying he missed the glitches spawners with unkillable mobs. Same - kinda. If we ever had that back we'd regret it quick tho. But unless we make god zombies, this class is going to be a punchline for a joke at best.

    So this leads me into my proposition:
    Since CTF has no coder, we as a community need to SPOON FEED THIS TO THE DEVS. SPOON. FEED. HERE COMES THE AIRPLANE STYLE. (Needs to be a song parody of gangdam, anyone wanna get on that?)

    First, it starts with removing the focus on mobs. Like, seriously, the AI for mobs is more broken than the AI for linemen in madden and that's saying something

    That's pretty much what a zombie does to a player standing still.

    So, let's do some thinking: How can we make the focus less on mobs or give necro some better mobs?
    Let's take some inspiration from a trashy b-movie: The mummy.
    The mummy is able to bring back humanoid mummies, sure, but they're very disposable and can be quickly killed by the heroes. Bu there's always more coming. Also he/she (depends on how crappy the version you're watching is) can also use what amounts to a tidal wave of sand/earth/dust. They also have really cool make-people into zombies attacks because they're undead.

    Ideas?
    1. Make necro an undead itself, not just a summoner

    2. Give necro some really cool abilities, like controlling a wave of damage-inducing or player slowing particles

    3. Because the AI is so bad, allow the necro to send mobs in a direction after the wave to clean up. These mobs could be VERY OP, VERY FAST, VERY STRONG, and ALMOST UNKILLABLE. However, they should disappear after a short time because they'd be OP otherwise.

    4. Give the necro more credit for kills: Start with a wave of 5 zombies or whatever mob (I like silverfish myself) and add 1 for every kill, making the necro very difficult to get to with time (imagine a 10 kill streak- 15 zombies in a wave) Cap it at like 20 zombies.

    5. Make the necro weaker as the mobs get stronger. Once mobs get really strong, the necro is almost unkillable because it is so well protected. In the past the solution was just to make it hard for necro to get good. Now, the solution will be to instead make the necro vulnerable and like a two-three hit kill once the 20 mob cap is reached

    What's the goal? Make necro a class with the ability to slow down players with like a sand wave and then do damage with mobs, to make necro's mobs actually useful, to make the class fun to play, and to make necro a viable offensive class with its ability to slow down recoverers behind it with waves of mobs and able to disrupt flag rooms with waves of mobs and sand waves and stuff.

    These ideas are all independent, not fleshed out, and more of me bouncing things off the wall because I hate how this class has always been.
    Ideas, anyone?

    I used to know how... don't feel like re-learning.

    But still, we can be productive without me re-learning java for the second time.
