So? Ninjas can be three shot by almost every class. That doesn't make eggspam any less obnoxious - and worthy of a ban under mmr

Irrelevant. Mage has a 7 (?) second cooldown on its freeze spell and archer cannot spam headshots. Elf, on the other hand, can spam the earth element because it has no cooldown and doesn't require precision to spam it

Isn't that the point of banning certain classes (engineer, dwarf) and tactics like eggspam, bowspam, flagburning, and spawnkilling? To narrow strategies?

I mean, I haven't seriously played in teams for years but what good are the rules if they aren't written in a way that ensures as much of a balanced, fun, & competitive play-style as possible? Getting spawnkilled isn't fun. Having half your spawn walled off by a camping Mage is annoying. And having to cap against a flagroom of dwarves is downright unfair.

Elf earth element spam should be banned for the same reason. Because it is an annoying, dumb strategy that is completely irrelevant to Elf's usefulness as a class. If it impacts you so much that Elf becomes "useless" then, to borrow a phrase from Drag, "get gud"
