Kit Counter to each Kit

A lot of 1v1s are situational, depending on the location of the players and the terrain. For example, Heavy counters Chemist in tight spaces but it's fair in the open.
As well, CTF is a team based game, meaning 1v1s are, most of the time, insignificant.

 

Furthermore, the respawn rate and how fast a class can chase you is important. Ninja is probably the weakest class in the game, but when there are 2-3 of them with eggs, and ender pearling back to you once you die, it's no wonder their the premier recov class

 

I believe elf has the ability to to "technically" counter every class. So if you feel like editing your list, you could add that in.

 

I'd say Elf could counter every class if it's an insanely good Elf. Other than that, Elf dies to most classes.

 

I play Elf on the side and it's not that much of a landslide except against heavy, necro, and good medics.

 

Great list, but keep in mind that the skill of a player also has an influence on the different counters.

Chemist is countered by elf’s pure element

 

Stop reviving old threads, this is two years old...
Chemist is not countered by elf's pure element simply because of how much healing they have. Once in a blue moon the Chemist will not react fast enough to heal before a third (assuming it actually hits) pure element shot.

 

Yeah but then you could just hit again

5 heal pots vs 16 regeneratable high damage arrows + bowspam
I wonder who would win
Also kinda hard to damage pot someone if it keeps getting reflected
Not to mention, chemist needs to get pretty close to do damage, so wind element is a great tool. And if you’re in a pinch, you can just fly away and water element at your feet

so I think that elf does counter chemist.
