Adding The Legacy Server To The Compass

Even if how the community will react is a considerably big part of making a decision on a bigger server like this one, I don't think it should solely decide what the server does. I honestly don't think keeping the Legacy Server and paying for it just because a handful of people are incapable of understanding and/or accepting change. I'm not entirely sure what's being spent on that extra server, which would definitely have an impact on the decision-making process, but if the cost is $30+ a month, then I feel that's too much to pay to keep a few hard-heads happy. If it's under $30, then keeping Legacy is slightly more reasonable, but nowhere near sensible. Not to mention that if the server is too cheap, it will not be able to handle the game itself, and start lagging ridiculously. Additionally, in the Brawl Shop T&C it states "All packages are subject to change at any time. There will be no refunds after your purchase", which every person had to agree to. Sure, they can attempt a chargeback, but I highly doubt that will end well. It's their fault if they didn't read it and/or care about the terms and conditions. While it may enrage some players, this is the position that they've put themselves in by purchasing anything on the store. I have spent a decent amount on Legacy War, but I am still all for a complete removal. Out with the old, and in with the new. Using "the community will be angry" is an absolute bull excuse. I'm failing to see any logical counter-arguments to removing Legacy on this entire thread so far. Maybe I'm just hard-headed myself, yeah?

I'd also like to point out that the "adding war 1.0 will kill war 2.0" argument is also pretty bad. There's no way in hell an older version of your game, which tops out at 10 players during the most rare of occasions, will destroy the obviously superior and more feature-packed edition. People are suckers for extra features. I think we can do better.
