the issue in brawl v2

Out of 4 of the only wild west mods, and 2 being jmod, there's chilled and Fuiji. I've heard chilled is becoming/moving to war. In my opinion I feel like we should wait this one out until the right person comes around. Also Fuiji is getting more into warz atm, not that I can necessary blame him with a 5 player base in Wild West and nothing to do.

 

- Trogs has proven to be abusive, he makes up rules and is inactive. He either needs to be demoted to mod or overall

- cuddled needs a demotion and we definitely need a new staff manager to take her place immediately. the problem is the current candidates for that position arent active in all fields. Id say if you were to promote eil to admin, he would need to be a staff manager strictly and change his role to be active in all servers. he definitely should not oversee bans or do part of roke's job at all. i dont think hes fit for admin personally but if he were to be, he'd be staff manager imo

- blamo snail are very inactive, yes, but there arent many suitable war applicants and if those two are demoted then we'd be left with two decently active mods (fista and toki) and one smod, which seems okay with the current player base but what if one of them were to be gone for a week or two? thats simply not enough mods on war, especially if theres an event. however any mod who stays in a private afk channel consistently needs a talking to. i almost got demoted once for being in a warz channel for 1 day straight.

- jay definitely needs the smod promotion. im not sure what hes doing now but he seems comparable to how snax was as it is, and he really improved on his "biasness". I think he deserves a shot at warz smod since warz badly needs one. he seems pretty good with community relations as well so giving him perms for events isnt a bad idea

- 3 of the staff you mentioned are part of warz, aboves, overkill and maryland. warz is the server that needs the most mods and honestly i couldnt care less if they only hop on for a few times a month, as its better than nothing.

- i havent seen nmh ingame as i dont play but if he isnt playing with cheaters anymore and hes helping etc. then just accept the man. warz doesnt have a dedicated jmod to review chat.

- give fuiji a shot

 

I think we all can agree that Eil should get admin, he's a very deticated player and is one if not the oldest current smod. He does seem to play in at least half of all gamemodes of brawl, such as wild west, warz, sometimes i see him on build working on some staff project probably (and he has spent a long time on it) and obviously raid.

Because change takes time. And demoting inactive mods won’t do anything.

 

Lol yea my proof was my video recording - he could see the player through the ceiling as he was looking straight at him and responding to his sword blocks with his own sword blocking. I didn't know you guys were in a call and that you were jokingly hackusating, which in all honestly warrants a legitimate ban when you all were trying to get him banned. If you are trying to get banned for hacking, you shouldn't be so surprised when you do when it looks just the same as a real hacker. In the end, you're just wasting staff's time. (And yes, I unbanned him shortly after, although I still place the fault on your end.)

Excuse my "butting" into other servers for wanting to have helped with as many reports and requests as I could when nobody else would/could. lmao

And a large problem with things not getting done or being slow is due to the lack of developers.
If CTF had a main, active dev, we'd be cranking in $$income and changes that need to be done. /shrug
So putty's gotta start trusting more people (there's a few great ctf coders who would be willing to learn and even get paid minimally I'm sure)
or to go on Craigslist or something pronto.

The reason I wouldn't demote more than those who I meantioned in my first post is because I'm on the side thinking "Brawl has so little staff anyway, and as long as they don't do anything wrong or go missing for a very long time, a demotion wouldn't be the best choice. Even if they are less active it still helps when they're online when they are."

Yeah, it highers the chance of them being abusive or banning falsely but regardeles I'm on the side quoted above

 

No applicants /shrug (ye ik nmh and nick rn), there's maybe a good applicant every month or so and they aren't even assured to be accepted

 

I agree with most of the things stated but I don’t think we should demote wintergreen3. She has a normal activity in my opinion but I cannot be very sure as I don’t play enouh CTF.
While Doges hasn’t got a good and even activity, I feel that his role is needed in the small Build staff team. It’s better to have him, even with a medium activity than losing him completely.
About the others I think they should be warned about their inactivity and moved on to demotion if they resist to get active.


As for the promotions, I can be confident about @GalaThundR, @Fuiji and @JAYGT for SMODs, but I am not really sure about @Eil for admin - I feel like it’s too early. Afterall I don’t have a concrete opinion about this one, Admin is a very high rank for me to have an opinion about.
Surely, @NMHRODMAN1SBEST should be given a shot but @MoistMayonnaise as well. I am neutral about @SuperBen4.
