Honestly hope they leave and finally put what was an amazing gamemode to bed. I thoroughly enjoyed warz and I know many others did as well but you cant bring what it was and therefore needs to go.

That's a rather lazy mindset imo. Look at Raid for instance. It's not what it was, and it still needs some work, but it's definitely on a good path right now. Imo, Warz just needs a proper, dedicated manager who will help spark new fun in an old favourite. I know the old days can't be restored, but new memories can be made (ik, the cheese is real). Will it take hard work, creativity and time? Of course, but someone needs to step up to the plate. Shutting it down is the lazy way out.

 

Speaking as a previous WarZ manager, you can put in as much time as you want, endless hours upon hours, nothing gets done. You can have amazing ideas but your voice isn't as strong as some might think. As a manager for a server like WarZ you're basically a ragdoll that is in the public eye, you take the fall for everything that happens in the community so that the higher-ups don't. I'm not sitting here saying that WarZ doesn't have potential because it does, but it's way too complex and way to toxic for a new player to start playing and actually enjoy themselves. It'll take way more than a "dedicated manager", it'll take effort and hours upon hours from our lovely higher-ups to fix. That is if they even want to, lol.

 

Well a proper manager is the start of it. Yes it's a very hard position for that server, but it needs a dedicated leader to start anywhere. That's all I'm basically saying. I know warz is tricky to deal with, but it sure doesn't help not having a manager for however long it's been.

Anywho, sad to see another staff member go. Resignation chains like this are never a good thing but gl out there even though I never met you b4 :n

Anyway, I didn't know you very well, but I did know that you were well-liked, which I still believe is one of the most important parts of being a good staff member, so amazing for that. I hope life works out for you.
