    Dwarf

    Dwarf is at a state in purgatory which barely anyone plays 'em. It requires more love! So I have some concepts to hopefully help dwarf get into its position again.

    Concepts/Ideas:
    - "Sprint Passive"
    - How it works: Dwarf's hunger bar will act like a sprint meter starting off full and when he/she runs it will slowly go down. Once it reaches 3 bars of hunger you can no longer sprint. You lose "1/2" a bar a second when sprinting and could recharge "1" bar per second after a "3" second cooldown. This makes dwarf a lot faster but encourages players to act like a guardian (slightly anyways).

    - "Power Sword"
    - How it works: Removes the charge up concept of crouching and replaces it with the concept of absorbing damage. Every time you take damage, your sword's enchantments increase [1 hit = +sharpness I, MAX = 5 hits = sharpness V + fire aspect I]. Every time you hit an enemy with your sword, it decreases the enchantments by one level each hit. (Perhaps you have to take a specific amount of damage to increase your level).

    - "Guardian Mode"
    - How it works: When crouching, you gain full resistance to knockback and gain (slowness?) and protection I on all armor pieces until you stop crouching

    jfc dwarf has literally always been in that state. except now it's stupid and bad instead of just being stupid

    +1 really good idea. Would also encourage strategic play

    Would need testing but I'm down. As long as Dwarf sustain is increased (either more steak or perhaps passive healing) this would be pretty great for turning Dwarf into a fighter instead of "I will guard this post"

    +0 would rather have Dwarf gain these resistances (or some of them) in some way that doesn't promote camping or general lack of mobility. Not a bad idea either tho.

    Like the ideas. +1 overall. Would be nice if your poll allowed selection of multiple options because all of the ideas are pretty good tbh

    I'm presuming the sprint meter will recharge once the dwarf is standing still or walking?

    Not a huge fan of this concept, mainly due to @Admyral_Mynson's reason. The problem with dwarf at the moment is that it is a camping class with very limited mobility. This concept will be adding to that.

    Overall, +1.

    I completely understand and agree. Perhaps it could be just a temporary ability or nothing at all. :stuck_out_tongue:

    Maybe give dwarf speed I when it's sprinting as well?

    I don't think this would be as useful as it would need to be for a defensive class. Instead, every time the dwarf is hit, it should get 2 levels of sharpness, capped at sharpness VI. 4th hit would give it fire aspect III (fire aspect I is quite weak), 5th hit would give dwarf protection I on it's chestplate and leggings. Instead of losing these "tiers" when you hit someone, they should be lost when you're being hit, at a rate of 1 tier a second.

    Not a fan of this idea for the same reasons Admiral said.

    Added the Sprint Passive idea to the staff CTF trello, waiting for more feedback before I add the Power Sword idea.

    tbh the power sword should be something for a whole new other -offensive-based- class, i loveee it

    id just keep dwarf as it is (just fix the no-slowness glitch & maybe small tweaks) and then add the "sprint passive" to it, boom gg??

    i also really like an ability granting anti-kb, protection enchantment, and slowness, just dont know if dwarf -needs- it, or if it could be added to a new class, and also i agree with the others above that u need to be able to be mobile when using this ability
