    Hi,
I would love to be able to download some of the maps in capture the flag. Is there a way.

It could also be cool if I could download some of the maps that they don't use anymore. I have a lot of memories from playing some of those that no longer exist back in 2013

There are 2 ways to download maps:
    1. Use our map download feature. This gives you a world file - just like what the game generates when you create a new world in singleplayer (look in your Minecraft directory, in the saves folder).
    2. Use FAWE's //download command. This gives you a schematic - a file type which FAWE uses for some if it's commands.

To use either command, you need the appropriate permissions on the map. We don't give players permissions to the gamemode maps unless they made the map, so you'll need to get a copy. To get one, you need to ask whoever created the map and get their permission. Get proof, and PM any staff member with the proof and the ID of the map you want.

You can't use our map download feature for this purpose. In order to do this, you need owner permissions on the map, but we don't give owner permissions to people who receive copies of a map. So, you'll need to do FAWE's //download command.

Select the entire map (go to 1 corner, do //pos1, go to the opposite corner, do //pos2) then do //download. The command should take you to a website which'll let you download the schematic. To get the schematic working on your PC, you will need to download and install FAWE from here: https://empcraft.com/fawe/download/?forge189. When that is installed correctly, create a singleplayer world with the Superflat world type. Customise the world type and remove all 3 block layers, so the world is completely void. Set the world to creative and open it up.

When you did //download, the website should've given you a command: //schematic load url:<id>. If not, go here, click on "Choose file", then the website will definitely give you the command. In the new world, use the command given, and the schematic will be pasted. Go to your Minecraft directory, open up the saves folder, and the world file will be in there.
