    Hello ladies, gentlemen, or however you choose to identify as, and Welcome to the new LGBTQ+ Squad 2.0!!!

    Back in the old days of MCPVP and the earlier stages of Brawl, there used to exist a small squad for those of the Lgbt community on CTF. xAshes and I have decided to bring back this squad to reconnect and create a safe space for those similar to ourselves. Here, you can be 100% unapologetically you with no shame or drama whatsoever! We plan to have fun activities together like movie nights, calls, or anything else we can think of. If you're apart of the Lgbt community, then feel free to apply using our application. If you feel uncomfortable applying on the thread, then no worries!     The last time this squad was created I made a very hurtful and truly awful thread making fun of it and comparing it to a hypothetical white supremacist squad. At that time lgbt+ rights was not something I was okay with, even though I knew I was bisexual, and I took it upon myself to shut something down which I felt had no place in the community. I said that an lgbt+ squad was unnessecary politicizing and that it was exclusionary but the opposite is true. I was extremely wrong and I'm sorry for what I did. Unlearning hate takes time but it feels good to have a new understanding of things in the long run. A number of experiences I've had in the last two years has gone a long way towards changing attitudes in that regard.

    Anyway, I think this squad is fantastic and I wish all of you the best. I really do. Much love yall, **** the haters
