    hey what's up guys, redboo123 writing this wonderful message, we're bringing you another epic rework of an iconic map, this time air balloons. i twisted its nipples and completely reskinned the map to something more playful, creative, and fun since all current ctf map look ****ing uninteresting boring and stale. you all might complain about the voidness of the map still, but we made up for the voidness by adding multiple routes (yeah @SoCool21, this time you can complain about the complexity of the routes, but they were needed in order to keep the original vibes of the map). soo uhhh map has different flag location, we tried to keep the islands of the original airballoons slightly intact so it feels like a rework and not a new map completely. spawn cloud (ex island) and the cloud that you get launched at (off route) have been lowered in Y levels to prevent archers from getting braindead headshots, there are not many good archers spots, and a cloud or two that seemed op, we changed them so they're not climbable, or hard to climb. ok ANYWAYS TL;DR BULLETS:
    - complete reskin
    - new islands (clouds)
    - new paths (rainbow bridges)
    - mid has an "underground"
    - flag location has been changed to fit the map's theme and gameplay (off might be frustrating because of void, not so much, but still flagroom is off biased, which i love, but since 90% of the ctf playerbase is def mains, you may not lactate off that change)
    - spawn clouds have been lowered to nerf archer spots and make it challenging to actually headshot people at mid
    - original design of the balloons have stayed but just for the aesthetics and the nostalgia trip around the map (they dont impact gameplay)
    - map has been covered in barriers (if you find any spot that ninjas can pearl on when other classes can't reach, let me know, thanks :thumbsup_tone5: )

    + Map actually balances archer really well.
    + Very creative design!
    + Ninja isn't extremely good on recov either.
    + Very offensive flagroom, maybe a bit too good.
    + The overlapping paths are very unique and interesting.
    - Everything looks the same. Imagine trying to explain to your team in a match where exactly you are, or even a general idea of where you are. You need more structure than just... cloud after cloud after cloud and rainbow road after rainbow road.
    - Platform with the flagroom on it is really small and it is way too easy to get knocked off.
    - Inside the cloud behind the flagroom is a really good stalemate spot.
    - This would be a nightmare with 50 people.

    Potential changes:
    > There are way too many barriers, won't be accepted with so many. Remove the ones surrounding the whole map, maybe except around some balloons.
    > Add more structures that aren't clouds or rainbow roads. Maybe a thundercloud or two? Maybe a little cute, fairy-like house in the sky or something? Maybe even a redboo123 statue, that would make it better.
    > More indication on which side of the map you're on.
    > The sponge behind the flagroom should be moved elsewhere, or have it launch elsewhere. You can launch off to it, go across to enemy spawn, and then take their spawn sponge to be really far away from the flag almost instantly.
    > Less void maybe? I don't understand why you're keeping the Air Balloons structure of things when it looks and plays nothing like it. Just make it an original!

    very good points bro, i just wanted to rework air balloons but the map is rather unreworkable, i am not gonna touch too many things, i will let this go through as it is, and if it doesn't get too much love, i will make an original based off the theme because i loved the theme myself. really gay and political correct. yeah the additional structrues couldn't have been added without ruining the block palette of the map. for team clarity (colours) we used the balloons on the sides which make it clear but i guess you do need a hint to look at them, also at every underground path there are coloured carpets since people can't see the air balloons while there. i really tried to make offense as easy as possible to make up for the cancer the void provides, thus the sponge behind the flagroom, it still is a long way for someone to go through spawn cloud only for them to be somewhat far, it's a risk and that's a high reward. i will maybe do something about the barrier but i got ptsd everytime i thought of the original air balloons could pearl to balloons. the "everything looks the same" argument was also brought up by sportyman but not really sure how to tackle that. i know about the stalemate post, it's still somewhat hsable and a chokepoint so whatever. mid cloud was slightly juiced up in size just so there's more space for people.

    but yeah, i will change what is game breaking for now, just the barriers i guess, i will keep the sponge there for personal agenda, what would you suggest for team clarity throughout the map? as i said, i won't be making big changes and if it doesn't make the rotation i will make an original with this theme since ctf lacks creative maps and always stick to the "uhh castle flagroom plains midfield" thing, glad i can make something that stands out for its creativity :- )

    I actually didn't really notice the carpets inside the tunnels, that's not bad I suppose, but I don't have many other ideas that would fit into the theme. It's a really nice theme, and I think you've done a good job here, but it's just really hard to pull off.
