    Reason they got removed is Necro Mob AI became severely broken sometime after transitioning to brawl, to where old necro was virtually useless in battle.

    Its an unfortunate reality that necro is just better off without them.

    one of the main reasons mobs were removed is because everyone that plays comp is experienced enough at the game that mobs are just fodder. incredibly low chance of them having a game changing impact on any match with the current skill margin, though it would be a good meme in casual for that same reason
