Hey hey! Well, short and sweet, here's chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. This is the second to last chapter and I really hope you enjoy Chapter 6: Within the Walls of ClockTower.

    Chapter 6
    [P.O.V. Deplicasus]
    During the third wave
I loved the thrill of battle! The action, the violence! I could withstand it all! I was unbeatable! I swung my sword
mercilessly through the others' pathetic attempts at taking me down. My armor was heavy, but for someone as strong as me this was easy. Besides, I loved the way it shined like a beacon in the sunlight, attracting more action. It was while I was attacking their medic; I heard the unmistakable sound of a weapon being drawn and turned in time to block my new opponent. The resounding crash and the way I struggled to hold my sword blocked proved that this was no ordinary recruit. I looked to see another heavy bringing their sword back up for another strike. The sword came down with another crash and I felt the force of the blow send a tremor through my armor. I whistled.
"That was a good shot. I'll give you that one." I said plainly. The enemy heavy lunged for a quick stab and I rotated
on my heels to avoid it.
"Thanks. Not bad yourself." Came the replay and I did a double take when I realized it was the voice of a girl!
"Wait, what?! You're a girl?" I asked, actually stopping in shock. Another blow came for my head, causing me to
stumbled backwards out of its reach.
"You should watch what you're doing. Talking on the battlefield will kill you." She answered simply. I shrugged and
we entered another duel. The fighting was intense. She was strong and fast, and I was blocking most of the time with very little time to retaliate. My arms were becoming numb from her strikes and I was beginning to be tired.
"Don't suppose I could ask for a time out?" I joked. She laughed quietly and I smiled. "I like your laugh." I could've
sworn I saw her blush, but couldn't be sure. I saw Sporty sneaking up on her from behind and dashed forward, catching her off guard. She pulled her sword up to block, but striking wasn't my intention. I pushed her as hard as I could and sent her flying backwards right onto Sporty's drawn sword. She gasped, the breath caught in her throat and the point of Sporty's sword sticking through her. I looked away.
"It's nothing personal. This is battle. I really did like your laugh though." I mumbled. She struggled for air and Sporty withdrew his sword from her. She collapsed onto the ground, but by that time I was turning to find new attackers. Yes, the battlefield was exciting, but the one thing I didn't like about it was that it was deadly fun. I wasn't a fan of death. I guess it could be said that I was afraid of dying. That's one of the reasons I became a heavy. I could withstand anything as long as I was careful. I attempted to put the dead heavy out of my mind and focused, instead, on the battle. Nuke was having difficulties with some elves and I rushed over to lend my assistance. No one was going to die on my watch! I'd make sure of it.
    [P.O.V. Sporty]
    After the third wave
"We're having issues over here!" I called to Deplicasus, who turned to take on 3 of Stlast and my attackers. They
tried their best to bash through his armor, but it was of the highest grade and withstood even the most devastating of shots. I was amazed.
"Oh! You could've told me you needed a babysitter." He said, laughing. Stlast looked over at me and rolled his eyes. I
chuckled and threw another damage potion at a cowering soldier. It connected with his armor and shattered, spilling burning toxic material all over him and effectively burning him inside his iron casing. The poor soul screamed and I cringed slightly. That had to hurt... Eventually his screams would die down, but not before he suffered. Another recruit came at me and I scowled, reaching inside for another damage potion. My eyes widened as I realized I had none left.
"Deplicasus!" I yelled, panicking and stumbling backwards to avoid the assailant's blows. The diamond armored man
charged, yelling the whole way, before tackling the soldier. I glanced behind us and had just enough time to grab my sword and block before a diamond sword came crashing down towards my head. Great, the enemy heavy. I thought we'd taken care of her already. I clumsily swung my sword around my head, deflecting her sword back at her. She blinked once, then recovered and swung again. Her attacks were slow but powerful. I rolled to the side to avoid her, but was greeted by the smell of rotting flesh. I glanced down to see the soldier I had killed rotting away and chocked back a gag.
"Sporty, watch out!" Was Deplicasus's call. I saw a shadow fall across me and closed my eyes for the inevitable. There
was no way I was escaping this one. I heard a resounding crack and opened my eyes slowly. Deplicasus was grimacing at me and it took me a while to register the sword sticking out of the back of his head. I gasped and scrambled backwards away from the frightening scene. Deplicasus looked up slightly, the light beginning to dim from his eyes.
"Like I... said... I'll carry... the entire team... on..." He was gone before he could finish his sentence. I sat there now,
in the midst of battle, staring at his still body. Someone grabbed me by the shoulder and shook me, which startled me out of my grief.
"Sporty, We have to move! We're retreating." I looked up into the face of Stlast. He pulled me to my feet and
motioned for me to grab part of Deplicasus. I nodded slightly, not quite sure of what I was doing. Together we picked up our heavy and carried him through the front gate. No one stopped us. They appeared to have lost the urge to fight and were watching us silently. Not much else other than that registered; just the little things like the fact that Deplicasus's armor appeared to have lost its shine, or the way Stlast kept looking back at me and frowning. The trip home was long and silent. People were talking, gasping, crying, but I didn't really hear any of it. My eyes remained on Deplicasus. When we reached home I followed Stlast to a secluded area of the base and together we laid him out. Stlast closed Deplicasus's eyes and stepped back. It was then that I noticed two other bodies were laying next to him and I gasped when I saw that one of them was Chaos himself. I swung my head over to Stlast and saw he was crying.
"How!" Was my shocked question. Stlast broke down even more and fell to his knees.
"We don't know! He was with group 2 the entire time! Why didn't they help him? Why wasn't anyone there?" I
didn't hear anything after that, because the tears came and I was lost in my grief. I knelt down next to Stlast and together we cried.
    [P.O.V. Toby]
    During the first wave
I was in my tent when the second in command came in. James stood there with a grim expression on his face
and I sat up from where I was laying on my cot.
"What's wrong, James?" I asked quizzically. He sighed and I braced myself for the worst.
"The camp's been attacked. I need you to take the flag to ClockTower. I'm under strict orders from Lionaa to
protect it at all cost." I groaned, getting up from my bed. James took an involuntary step back from me and I groaned again.
"You know, just because I'm a necromancer doesn't mean I'm part of the dead too." He seemed to loosen up a
little and I reached for my bag. I put all the necessary essentials inside and walked up to him. I was relieved when he didn't flinch or back up. "What do you want me to do when I get there?" Outside, the faint sounds of battle could be heard. James seemed to have heard them as well, because he became more urgent.
"I need you to set up your army and wait for us to arrive. Make sure no one follows you. Wait for instructions.
We'll be in touch." With that, he handed me the blue team's flag and ran off towards the head tent. I glanced down at the token piece; the silly strip of fabric that started it all. It was jaded, worn out, and very light; almost like air. I shrugged and stuffed it into my bag before heading out. It was going to be difficult to get around everyone without being noticed.
    ...
The sun was beginning to set as I walked through the forest. A crisp air had also stirred and now I was slightly
shivering. All of this hard work for a flag. The idea seemed laughable, but then I remembered how much we treasured our own flag. It was a trophy, a sign that we were victorious. It was our most prized possession and I was glad we still had it. I was beginning to understand the blue team's reason for wanting it back. I just hoped the fighting was going in our favor back there. I hugged myself tighter and continued on through the dusk. Up ahead I could make out a giant clocktower. It stood tall above the tops of the trees and I knew I was getting close. When I was inside I went straight to work. Pulling out the flag, I placed it on the post and began making my preparations for a defensive army setup. Working with the dead was no easy task. I had learned that the hard way. I pulled out my spellbook and cast a protection charm on myself. I would have to do the same for all of my teammates when they got here. The dead would attack anyone that wasn't protected. I settled into a sitting position and focused my energy, pulling in the power from around me. I breathed in deeply and then released it, casting my spell at the same time. I felt the familiar tremor through me as the energy branched out, and then I heard them. They came in droves. The sounds of the undead could send a chill through anybody straight to their core. To me it sounded like power. I was controlling the dead! The idea was both terrifying and exhilarating. They were here shortly and I began my preparations. This was going to be the final battle.

Edited. rip in pepperinis for not getting it out sooner. My internet kapooted. sorry... I hope you all enjoyed chapter 6 though! ^-^

Lolz unifier so far is the only casualty, but it's all planned out accordingly, I promise. ^-^ and don't worry. Deplicasus's death was not in vain. I can promise you that as well. There's a lot of background plot buildup that's been going on all through the story.

    My team is best team.

    Clearly.

..... Out of curiosity, who would be down to have this game (with these people, on these teams,) actually play out in a round?

"Lolz unifier so far is the only casualty" I'm alive then!
"Deplicasus's death was not in vain" OK forgot what I said about being alive
"dude deps death made me cry" yeah I had so much going my way man :/
"I could've sworn a saw her blush, but couldn't be so sure" IRL me would just like to say that that is extremely unlikely. But don't listen to IRL me, IRL me should only be listened to IRL.
"Thank you dep for helping me" You sure it wasn't Sporty I saved?
"Basically NO ONE on the reds' have died" Blame Birdgirl, she doesn't let anyone die :/
"I whistled" I thought I sucked at it. Welp, you learn something new every day.
    "striking wasn't my intention" Rip.
"I pushed her as hard as I could and sent her flying backwards right onto Sporty's drawn sword" Darn, right in the neck. That's like a Heavy's only unarmored spot :/ Unlucky.
"I wasn't a fan of death" https://www.brawl.com/players/Deplicasus/ My stats disagree. But yeah, death is only good when you can respawn.

Alright, I'm done with the comments... for now.
