Alright I had enough of this "not being able to tell you about stuff," thing. I dont know why no staff member cant tell the community of why they cant reveal a trick to help them get promoted. This isnt Area 51 where you have secret aircraft and who knows what under construction. Its a game. A game where you try to capture the flag and the fact that the staff members cant tell us what is under development and all that stuff leads me to suspicion.



This isnt a hate message to the staff members. Its just a question of why no staff member can reveal anything. I understand when it comes to big stuff but when it comes to ways of getting promoted from JMOD to MOD, it just sounds like nonsense. I would not only like @Gehenna_Beam to respond to this but also @wintergreen3, and @Lord_Roke , @Canoodle to respond to this as well.

You don't need to know about the process we go through to become Mod. You're not a JMod.
Also, there's a good reason why you aren't suppose to know about in development things. Ever heard of War 2.0? It was promised years ago, and to this day it's still in development. This has angered War players. The staff shouldn't said anything about it in the first place.

 

People always hit the dummy by accident because of ping (Get hit backwards and hit it before it moves behind you because of the lag) it always happens to me and that's why I used to get auto banned :v

 

First and foremost, I know this was already addressed that these bans were Autobans, but did you check to see if these were autobans before complaining about this?
And as far as I am concerned, there is a very complex system for banning people on Brawl-- more intricate for JMods and T-JMods. For Junior Moderators (as of March) have to record evidence and send it to a Moderator for review; or they can send it to report.brawl.com if they want credit for the ban. As for Moderators, they have to record every single ban for the first two weeks after their promotion... After two weeks, they are free to decide if they want to record or not. A majority of Moderators record just for good habit and so they don't run into any trouble for false bans or anything. 90% of the time, Moderators try very hard to make sure a player is hacking before they go ahead and ban them. There are repercussions for an excessive amount of false bans.

The autoban system we currently have is already pretty intricate and does a TON of checks before it bans a player. Need I remind everyone that Autobans only last for 12 hours. BrawlBot tests for Forcefield, Speed, Click Aimbot, Killaura, Autosoup, movement hacks, macros' and has probably improved to detect traces of TriggerBot. Brawl also has a replay system where Moderators can go and watch an in-game recording of what was happening to understand a 3-Dimensional scope of the situation where a player was Autobanned.

As per what was previously stated, if you honest-to-goodness think / know you were falsely banned, always go to the appeals section of Brawl @ appeal.brawl.com -- Plead your case and numerous Moderators will come to a conclusion that will typically result in your favor (unless you were actually hacking... then you'll be banned).

it was not an auto, look at the "ban", I think all experienced brawls know a "ban" is never temporary, a temporary ban is called "temporary ban" and an auto ban is called "automatic ban" but w/e I know james doesnt hack but his alt sure can, look down below =D

 

Was just casually reading this thread when I noticed that Gehenna and flavorous both stated that the bans were autobans when @lnjured ban was in fact not an autoban..

Yall need to stop lmao. Much offense to staff lol jk but they know little to nothing about hacking. None of them are pvpers. If they say they are, then they aren't GOOD pvpers. Look up my ban history. Every single ban is false. And notice how most are NOT autobans. Every. Single. One. It's gotten to the point where i'm so used to it and now everyone knows i don't hack lol

there are blatant hackers that anyone can tell, and there's the smart hackers that know how to client under the radar to avoid detection.

I don't ever report anyone because i know nothing will happen. If there's a hacker i just leave or hope he leaves

Staff also have a tendency to ban INSTANTLY. Just because they have a simple recording of you doing something, that automatically gives them authority to perma ban. Prime example: my friend was mining once on survival pvp and he was perm banned for xray when he just got lucky and dug down a bit and found diamonds by accident. In his entire hour of mining... The mod didn't even bother to watch him longer to CONFIRM it was actually xray. Just instabanned. Then he was unbanned the next day. But this wasn't his first falseban

We weren't talking about lnjured. We were talking about Nahzoo and Memorably. I know Memorably is an alt of lnjured, but Memorably has never been banned before.
