Notice Board

Please do not ask CMS members for permission to spectate matches. We cannot speak for other reps and their wishes, so please ask both reps BEFORE matches. Referee consent will also be in play at all times if they wish. CMS can issue guest passes to those that wish to help out with things like commentating and related, but these passes are highly limited and will only be handed out to those that will add on to the quality of content covered by CMS. Passes are affected by the blacklist, referee preference, and refs/teams consent.


Team leaders/reps, you can always limit the amount of spectators that are in your matches if you wish. If you are bothered by the amount of spectators coming into your matches, then please feel free to pm your match referee and any concerns to gamren or CMS leaders/representatives. All we ask is that you may be thoughtful and fair if you do request to limit spectator numbers accordingly. Your match referee can also control the amount of spectators allowed.

CTF Teams Tournament
With the tourney has started last weekend, I decided it would be nice to interview @Miskey and get his opinions on certain topics.

Hamza- Firstly, how pleased are you that most (I think all official teams) joined the tourney?

Miskey- I'm pleased that every eligible team decided to participate. It means that teams are still interested in being competitive, which is good for the teams system.(edited)

Hamza- How do you personally feel about the rules? Do you feel any playstyle is restricted with them?

Miskey- I always think no ghosting restricts ninja quite a bit, but other than that the rules aren't too bad. Honestly anything more than standard assassin/archer/pyro/medic limits seem like too much to me, but I can see why other things are limited.

Hamza- Looking at the two matches that have take place already, do you think you has a sense on how the majority of matches will be?

Miskey- I think that a lot of teams that haven't played yet have a good chance. Teams like TC, Anni, INSG, DF just to name a few. I'm not quite sure exactly how the tournament will go, but I do think some teams are very very strong.

Hamza- As a mod, is there anything you are worried about seeing in this tourney? Is there anything you are excited to see?

Miskey- There's not anything that I'm really worried about seeing. I'm very excited to see all the teams compete at a high level, and I'm really looking forward to the level of play that will come out further up the brackets.

Hamza- Are there any certain playstyles or strategies you want to see? Who do you think will pull it off, or attempt to?

Miskey- I'm very interested in seeing any strategy that's not the standard pvp classes. Any elf/mage/necro gets me excited. I think Anni/TBF are the teams that have the highest potential to pull out some strategies involving those classes.

Hamza- And finally, as the rep of a team participating in the tourney what is something you are excited to see in your team?

Miskey- To be honest, I don't know where my team is at the moment in terms of play. We've recently come together and accepted a bunch of new and old members, and we haven't had much practice with this roster yet. I'm really excited to see us grow throughout the tournament regardless of the results.

Wrathburn_: 2-1 TBF - Annihilation may not be able to keep up with the speed of TBF, who has beaten Insurgence and I think Anni only has the mage advantage, if aefrog shows up, regardless TBF gets the upper hand in PvP/Archer.

Wrathburn_: 5-3 TC 3-1 ADV 2-0 TC - Both teams have gotten new strong members, but my reason for TC getting the win is this, TC has the opportunity to get ridiculous aggressive now, mainly because of pudgy and ADV lacks an archer main (atm, unless free makes a comeback).

Wrathburn_: 3-0 INSG, 5-0 INSG - mainly due to their advantage of pvp and experience, not gonna say that Valory doesn't have experience or lacking in pvp, but INSG has a bit more of those in those areas.

oowiS: 3-0 IN 5-3 IN - More experienced players in IN, even if Valory brings their strongest members I think IN will be able to get their first cap early, breaking Valory's coordination leading IN's to their win.

[Tourney] The Templars vs The Adventurer [4/2]
Wrathburn_: 3-0 TT, 3-1 ADV, 2-0 ADV - honestly TT could win, but only if they bring star players like pizze, ledoener and etc. The reason why I see for an ADV win, is due to their recent additions which proofed to be a good thing as we saw on Blackout against TC. TT hasn't been active lately and may be rusty, but I do not say that TT will lose on their own pick.

Spades_: 2-1 TT, 3-2 ADV, 1-0 TT - ADV has gotten more active, and they appear to be flowing better as a team. It'll be a close match, but I'm not sure it will be enough to beat TT.

So the second match between those 2 strong teams, both have changed and improved since their last matchup, but who will win?

The match starts with TC pick, blackout. Ninja caps are actually allowed for once and Participated uses the opportunity to steal from TC as ninja and brings up the score to 1-0 for Insurgence.

Arctic follows up with a steal and manages to get to far side with support and recov, she gets headshotted by Dan but unfortunately zeng picks it up and manages to cap. Both teams are able to get steals but they are recovered easily. 7 minutes into the game LegendOfPinkLink(chemist) gets a good steal while ghenry(pyro) is being distracted by sportyman(medic), but he doesn't get that far due to june being on him, this however wasn't recovered by June since he died and sporty is able to pick it up and meets support, he tries to throw down the flag, without any success, than he tries to jump down and web the ground so fall damage won't kill him, but fails and June manages to recover. After that they both fire steals back and forth, however both recovery is at this point very strong. Color manages a steal as heavy, due to ghenry getting disconnected, he gets pass mid but dies to heavy damage as soon he saw his medic. TC subs in KingScrub(assassin) for ghenry in, Keeler goes pyro, but LegendOfPinkLink gets a steal, manages to get to the bars while his support is distracting Kev, but June manages somehow to recov after Kev dealt with his distraction and lands a snipe on him.

Some time passes with decents steals by both teams, but no captures, ghenry rejoins the game and KingScrub gets subbed out.

Some time later Arctic manages to get a steal, gets out, xAshes does a good job on webbing Trego(pyro) who was before infront of Arctic and gets cap #2 for TC. However Evan who went on recovery steals TC’s flag, gets a full restore and dodges kevs arrows, he goes top mid, gets pass middle and Arctic tries to counter steal, but goes down to Participated, allowing Evan to cap and setting the score back to a tie of 2-2. Zeng manages to steal and survive a frenzy, yet she is dies from damage, but Arctic picks it up, unfortunately for her she died as she tried to pass the bars. While that is happening LegendOfPinkLink has stolen and manages to capture bring the score up to a 3-2 for Insurgence.

Laurilicious gets a steal as ninja, pearls top and passes to zeng, Evan tries to steal, but he dies, giving TC the capture.

Color gets a steal, tries to go top mid yet lucky for Kev, who is being distracted by Participated, Color dies to a headshot, but LegendOfPinkLink picks it up until he is also headshotted along with sporty and Evan who attempt to pick up the flag and ghenry recovers the flag. The next 2mins fly by and the TC pick ends with a tie.

Opposites Collide V, Insurgence's pick, the map starts with some small steals until Arctic gets a steal as soldier, going top with no steak and gets caught by Dan, resulting in a recov. Later kev gets a steal as chemist, goes up, xAshes being behind him but goes down to damage, however this results in Arctic stealing as soldier, goes bottom, Insurgence's recov is far behind and TC is roaming up for any potential recov, giving TC the first cap.

Participated gets a steal, going top and meets his support, while he gets across the map without any recov being on him, kev steals as chemist, he tries to go top yet he switched by going bottom only to die to Olivar being assassin, thus Insurgence manages to cap.

After multiple steals from both teams Kev as medic and sportyman as chemist steal, Kev having no support goes down regardless of his good webs to Dan and sporty gets across bottom mid with support captures, giving Insurgence another cap.

Few steals happen, but Evan gets a medic steal, webbing TC recov, but Laurilicious and june try to recover, instead they are boosting him, resulting in a cap and a 2 cap lead for Insurgence.


To recap, Blackout was a tie (3-3), Insurgence won Opposites Collide V with a cap lead of two (3-1), the agreed map is Valley of Ruins, a three cap map, all what Insurgence has to do is to cap twice to win, TC has to cap twice to tie the game or 3-0 here and now to win.

Valley of Ruins begins at the start with some decent steals until three minutes into the game sporty is able to steal as heavy, taking the back tunnel without any support and with junebugulas/Laurilicious being the only real threat besides kev who is being distracted by Dan/Color. Evan manages to kill both of the ninjas and gets a full restore by LegendOfPinkLink. In the meantime Arctic steals too and with the TC recovery supporting her will cause the first real stalemate. Both teams attempt to recov the flag, but ghenry manages to recov, giving TC the first cap. Awhile after Swit2427 steals and meets her support, xAshes attempts to restore her steak, yet Dan headshots her before that happens. Regardless Swit gets to her spawn with support and Color steals as chemist, but goes down to the recovery from TC and Swit caps. Time passes until Laurilicious manages to steal as ninja and gets pretty far, the Insurgence ninja pearls barely miss her, she gets healed by xAshes, but Participated steals and Laurilicious tries to pass to Keeler (heavy), but unfortunately for her OlivaAl_ recovs as ninja. Participated does not make it and gets recovered on. The very last minute passes, both teams say /gg and the match ends with an overall tie.

@kevshadowslayer was chosen to be the “Player of The Game” due to his good performance in this game and for his ridiculously good headshots while being distracted/attacked by ninjas.

[Official] Galvanize + The Crusaders vs Annihilation + The Blue Flaggers

A co-op match is finally happening again due to the efforts of Miskey and the team representatives of TC, TBF and Galvanize, being the first co-op in this year clearly hyped up literally everyone, let's see how it actually went.

Good old Blackout, TC+Galvanize map pick, starts right away with both offensives moving in, but the defense of TBF+Anni managed to hold of their wave, while TC+Galvanize struggles to prevent steals. The first steal by TC+Galvanize was made by Removers as ninja, after b0squet managed to get the upper hand against Ace, Removers could pearl top mid without any recov on him, yet he dies to falldamage at his spawn and is safely recovered by Invidus. After some good steals by both teams Swit with flag gets pretty far and to her spawn, 915 countersteals as elf allowing a stalemate, yet Swit gets knocked into her own spawn by a good lightning by aefrogdog, 915 dies later and the flag gets recovered. Some time passes and Ugianskis gets a steal as soldier, manages to get out, to his spawn, 915 steals again, but he goes down to damage done by the ninjas, allowing Ugianskis to get the first capture for TC+Galvanize. Right away Removers steals again as ninja, but Invidus is there to recov on him yet again. The game keeps his high speed with the steals coming from both co-op teams, yet they get recover on until 915 steals again as elf and gets a full restore, xAshes throws good webs to slow down 915 and his support, but noone is there to offer some recovery. He gets to his spawn while Arctic attempts to counter steal, yet unsuccessful while doing that, 915 captures and it's a tie. While later Swit steals fairly clean, gets on xxxdead, gets headshotted, Arctic continues running, also gets headshotted by Ace, leaving puhdgy alone with the flag with her recov on her. Somehow she managed to get pass them, but aefrogdog sends her into the void, recovering the flag. EkkoFox(dragorag) steals as ninja, gets to his spawn without any recovery by TC+Galvanize, passes to Takodana(snowbreak) and he is being supported, thus caps, bringing the score to 2-1 for TBF+Anni. 915 steals yet again, manages to get to his spawn with his support, Ugianskis countersteals, but dies to damage done by the defense, giving TBF+Anni their third cap. After several steals Arctic gets a good steal, but is being pressured by Wrathburn_ because she gets knocked away by him, somehow she manages to get to the far side, due to Invidus pushing her towards a wall and puhdgy restores her. Satelllite(Nlog_88) swoops in for the assassination on Arctic, recovering a potential capture. Arctic and Takadona steal, creating a stalemate, after several different flagholders for TBC+Anni, TC+Galvanize manage to recover, but EkkoFox steals clean, continuing the stalemate and with 1 minute left, noone will be recovering on him, thus ending the map with a 3-1 for Anni+TBF.

Airlock 1 the map pick by Anni+TBF, here both offensives start relative slow compared to Blackout, but still both co-op teams manage to get decent steals with TC+Galvanize having more success than Anni+TBF, regardless they get recovered on until Swit gets a good steal, with recovery from Anni+TBF behind her, she manages to get mid and almost gets a full restore, unfortunately for her aefrogdog knocks puhdgy away, allowing the recovery to kill off Swit. Some steals later EkkoFox steals, but is stopped by Ugianskis’ freeze at the middle, recovering on him in the process. With the defense by Anni+TBF scattered due to the steals, Removers gets a ninja steal, pearls to the mid dom and unfortunately for Swit, who was here to pickup the dropped flag, Invidus manages to get there first thus recovering the flag. Arctic steals the flag as heavy, goes far side with support, but they are getting cut off by Wrathburn_(chemist), Nlog_88(assassin) and Invidus(ninja). Wrathburn_ being the only one alive separates Arctic from puhdgy and Swit, allowing Takadona to knock her into the void thus resulting in a recov. Later Arctic and Miskey steal, causing a stalemate, until 33secs left the stalemate ends with Miskey dying and Arctic capping, thus the score is 1-0 TC+Galvanize on Airlock 1.

Finally, the agreed map for this match is Skyworlds 1, TC+Galv and Anni+TBF a are ready to finish their match after a pause of roughly 5mins. Both offensives move into the flagroom, however after some steals by both teams Ugianskis manages to steal and get pass mid, with Ace being distracted and Anni+TBF recovery slowly dying he gets cap #1. Removers immediately steals as ninja after that, dies, Arctic picks it up, she goes down to a headshot and Swit picks it up, with puhdgy and Removers supporting her, the recovery of Anni+TBF goes down. However EkkoFox also stole as ninja and Wrathburn picks it up but this stalemate doesn't last very long due to Swit dying to damage, unfortunately for Wrathburn his support jumps down earlier than he, thus creating an opportunity for Removers(ninja) and eeyore6(assassin) to recover on him.

Ugianskis steals as soldier, manages to get on top of blues spawntower to pass to Sprae who is elf, but aefrogdog knocks him towards Nlog_88 assassinates him before he is able to pass his own bridge. Several steals later Arctic gets a steal, survives the frenzy, but dies to a headshot however there's more Swit picks it up and gets webbed, somehow she survives the moshpit and goes down later, allowing for a recov. After several short lived steals Ugianskis is able to pass to Sprae who pearls to their flagroom entrance however Invidus manages to recov despite xAshes and puhdgy being around the dropped flag. Time passes and after some steals Miskey ninja steals, takes the back entrance sponge, waits awhile to avoid any potential recovery ninjas, pearls than, passes to Wrathburn and he manages to capture the flag, making a tie once again.

With 5 mins left TC+Galvanize bring more offense and get more repeatedly steals, Removers got a clean ninja steal once again, pearls to his spawn, Swit picks the flag up, but EkkoFox steals while she is on her way into the flagroom, she still walks into the flagroom allowing Wrathburn, Miskey and Siwoo to recover. With only 20 seconds left Removers steals as ninja, but unfortunately for him Miskey reflects his pearl as elf, he dies to aefrogdog and thus the game ends with an Anni+TBF win.

Ah, The Crusaders and The Adventurers, with both Galvanize and Defiance disbanding both teams got new members, but which team can pull the win off with their recent additions?

Opposite Collide V, standard pick by ADV, but TC has learned a new trick on this map by going the very top bridge to use the drop-down, unfortunately for them ADV knows since wulfi98 is aware of that, with that being said both teams do get minor steals until Kryssl gets a steal as medic, after Avetis dies as soldier, she goes bottom and is able to get to their flagroom, however Forums recovers on her. Following that Arctic steals as soldier, goes bottom with no recovery from ADV on her and manages to cap for TC. Avetis and Arctic steal and cause a stalemate, a stalemate with Avetis being heavy while Arctic is soldier. Both teams do not manage to recover on either Avetis or Arctic, thus Opposites Collide V ends with 1-0 for TC.

TC's pick, Blackout, is the next map, 2 minutes into the game Avetis gets a good steal as soldier, after redslime killed Keeler as pyro and xAshes as assassin, Avetis manages to get to his medic and gets the restore, but later he gets headshotted and Kryzzl picks it up, yet she dies later to Forums, resulting in a recov. Later Avetis steals again with Kryzzl killing xAshes and Male___123 taking care of Keeler. He manages to get to the bars, but junebugulas and Forums are standing on top of the bridge so he does a 200 IQ move: He passes though the bars and Kryzzl picks it up. Both june and forums attempt to recov, yet ADV supports her giving ADV the first capture on Blackout.

On TC’s next offensive push Forums supports by clearing the flagroom to allow Swit to get a steal, ADV tries to recov, but she already got the restore and gets to her spawn without any major problems besides some ninjas, who die to her support, giving TC their first capture. Some time later Male___123 steals again, goes xxxdead is caught in TC’s recovery, but fortunately for him Kryzzl is there to heal and restore him, but after bars he gets headshotted and Kryzzl picks the dropped flag up. xAshes tries to steal as assassin to stall Kryzzl a bit, it works until she goes down and Swit steals as soldier, during this time Kryssl goes down to ninjas, but again not recovered by TC. After TC sends again Laurilicious and Forums to recov, Avetis passes to redslime, who is playing soldier. Thus a stalemate was born between Swit and redslime. Flagpost is able to headshot redslime, but Z_Cray picks it up and manages to pass to redslime again, the stalemate is still on until freerider14 headshots Swit and wulfi98 is able to recov.

xAshes steals as medic, but goes down to 3 ninjas, followed by junebugulas stealing as soldier, but he also dies, giving ADV their second capture. After some steals Swit takes the flag and with her support she is able to get to her spawn, but this opened a chance for Avetis to steal and get to his spawn too, causing another stalemate between 2 soldiers. This stalemate lasts till map end without anyone recovering on either carrier and Blackout goes to ADV 2-1.

Valley of Ruins, the agreed map by both teams, either TC or ADV have to win the map to win the match, due to the tie of 2-2 in captures. Both teams start slowly with some small steals until Swit gets a steal, being pressured hard by wulfi98,yet pudgy gets a restore on her, unfortunately Swit gets headshotted by free, pudgy picks it up and gets assassinated by mori44. Avetis stole while ADV recovered on Swit, he dies to damage, xAshes webs Kryzzl, preventing her from picking up and resulting in a recov. Good steals fire back and forth between both teams, yet freerider14 and lauten recover on them easily until Male___123 gets a steal as medic, gets out to his support, gets restored before gherny lands a hit on him and without any potential dangerous recov by TC, he caps for ADV. ADV proceeds with the turtle at 6 minutes left, TC desperately try to get a cap to tie the game, but the roaming defense of ADV is ripping apart the massive offense from TC one by one. Thus the game ends with an ADV win of 1-0 on VoR and in total 3-2 ADV.

The “Player of The Game” goes to @freerider14, who just made his comeback, because his dominance on VoR tipped the scales in ADV’s favor and though him most steals from TC turned into nothing than a simple recov.

[Tourney] The Adventurer vs The Templars

The second match of the 2018 Teams Tournament takes place in the Ice Conference, between The Templars and the Adventurer. Both teams bring newer, but powerful rosters; ADV showing up with old Defiance players such as Jul13n, Z_Hobo, and DeDondo along with old ADV core such as Z_Cray and wulfi98. Meanwhile, TT brings many newer players such as caligraph, Raging_, and bofbofbofbof along with some older Templars such as November and Optulence. With that said, we move into ADV’s map pick, Blackout. We start the map with both teams running the same offense, 2 soldiers, a medic, and a chemist. Roaming from both teams is able to ravage the enemy offense for the first 5 minutes. Bofbofbofbof (Thecoca111) gets a ninja steal and pearls to the top of the middle. Wulfi, although on top, pearls away before realizing where coca’s pearl lands, allowing Sona_Tea to pick up as chemist. He is able to escape to his support at spawn. Meanwhile, Avetis is able to steal and get to his spawn thanks to support from ADV offense. A stalemate between soldier and chemist begins, but soon turns into a stalemate between soldier and heavy (Sona passes to jarvan). With some good pushes for recovery coming from ADV, TT decides to pass to Optulence as soldier. Despite the pass to Optulence, TT is still under a large amount of pressure from the never-ending ADV recovery. Time passes on until nearly a third of the map is left; ADV gets a nice assassination via wulfi onto Optulence, allowing them to gain the first cap of the game. The next few minutes consist of steals from both sides, but nobody makes the halfway point (except for a potent steal from Optulence). Calig gets a promising steal going down the middle of the map. Utilizing the fountain, he does a great job stalling and regroups with his support. This eventually leads to TT’s first capture. Minutes later, a good steal from calig ends up across the map and moments away from a capture when Avetis steals as soldier. Avetis climbs up to mid, but gets shut down by coca as ninja. The Templars get a second cap. Soon after, calig gets a ninja steal going top mid and then spawn, passing off to Sona_Tea as chemist. Sona caps, and Optulence steals right after. With a minute left, Avetis runs TT flag down the side, but gets taken down by double ninjas. Optulence is able to get a fourth capture within the last seconds of blackout. The map ends in 4-1 for TT.

The next map is TT’s all time favorite Pagodas. With players like calig on offense, ADV will have to put their best foot forward to even have a chance at getting to map 3. The map starts out with slow steals from both sides that don't go places. The exception of these steals are calig, who uses longer, more stalwart routes to get farther than the other offense players. Unfortunately, ADV handles TT medic, which means calig won't get too far. Coca gets a ninja steal down the side of mid, but is confronted by Z_Hobo and wulfi. Optulence gets a steal shortly after, going coca’s route. She gets brick-walled by Jul13n and Z_Hobo, but with medic support from hadynkan121, she makes it past the two. After tons of opposition from ADV, Optulence manages to get to TT flagroom and capture before being assassinated. Both teams struggling to regroup, Coca gets a ninja steal through mid and redslime gets a chemist steal to the side of Pagodas. Coca tries to pass, but Jul13n picks it up as ninja before that happens. Meanwhile redslime is recovered on by Raging_. The teams regroup with each other when calligraph steals again. He goes straight down the middle, but lack of support makes his run short. On the other hand, Avetis is out on the side again with support going very far. TT tries to recover, but Avetis is able to stay alive and get a capture for ADV. More ninja steals happen for TT but all of them are shut down. Calig steals and tries to pass to Optulence, but wulfi pearls into it at the perfect moment and recovers. Not long after, calig gets out again on top of ADV spawn. He tries to pass but the circumstances aren't right. Z_Hobo is able to recover again. Meanwhile, Avetis gets out and across the map with small opposition. He's able to get another capture for ADV. As time goes on, calig gets one last steal but isn't able to get across the map before the timer runs out. The map ends 2-1 for ADV.
