Its almost impossible to prove you are dedicated enough to become smod while specific on a dead gamemode.
@SoCool21 I mean no offense, but you do not need to be hg smod.
Transfer to something and work that way. There is nothing more you can do for HG unless you code for it, and as long as you are for HG you are going to be ignored. Being a MOD on a dead gamemode means you have no hope of being promoted to SMOD because your work goes unnoticed. Try being specific for more than one server. It is the only way you can prove you are professional enough. With a new staff manager who knows what will be ignored or acknowledged? You might as well try this. Its worth a shot.

I hate to pull a tallscot, but if you're going to leave - leave. There is absolutely no need to be rude in this way.
Literally every mod has a server they do work for. You have no idea what goes on behind the scenes. You have absolutely no idea just how much f***ing work Tom has put into Brawl, I'm willing to bet it's more than you ever did. Either PM him with actual feedback and actually useful criticism instead of this bit of flame - it's pretty obvious that you're mad that WW doesn't have an SMod yet/again - how do you think I feel? How mad, how aggrevated do you think I am? Do you see me complaining in such an incredibly offensive way about the fact that HG doesn't have an SMod?

 

Perhaps your should bother reread what I have written. All I have stated is that while he has an HG server specific tag, he will have no hope of becoming an SMOD. It does not matter how much he does, he will not be an HG Smod. Putty and Roke have stated that they are not looking for one multiple times.
I am very well aware of how much he does for the server, and I have not intended any form of flame against him.
As a former staff member I was perfectly aware of his activity and how involved he was with multiple servers. However, I have only stated that he will continue to have his work ignored because of the low playerbase of his main server.

Unless he is to become a developer, there is literally nothing he can do for HG. It is nothing against his fault, but the admins and developers have no interest (besides miskey) in making changes to it due to its lack of players. As I stated earlier and on my resignation Socool is one of the best most dedicated mods. He deserves smod just as much as any current smod does. The only issue is that he is not being acknowledged. Surely you must agree that his work is being ignored, else he would be an SMOD right now?

I really do hope you reread some of what I have stated in the past. I see nowhere in which I have led you to believe that socool does nothing for Brawl. I know much better than you do how much he has done for Brawl considering I worked with him for about a year. I know perfectly well how much he does behind the scenes. He is the first person who I contacted and asked about why he was not promoted to smod with Miskey B0squet and DarkTitan. You should read what I have written instead of trying to make what I have put into something aggressive or insulting simply because of my past actions.

Also for your information I have requested that I be forums banned and banned in game several times, however as far as I am aware they do not allow requested forums bans anymore. Spiral's outro should give you evidence enough to prove that.

They had smods while the server was alive and had a large player base. Right now, it has had literally no players on it at basically any given time over the past 4 months. I do not agree, but it seems quite clear that roke and putty believe there is no reason for there to be an smod for HG.
I am personally not being discriminating in any way. I would love for him to be an SMOD, however, looking at the way things are and at the fact that he is currently NOT an smod, it would seem to me that roke and putty are the ones being extremely discriminating.
Personally I believe that there should always be an smod to manage each server.

Whether or not HG needs an SMOD or not is irrelevant. Roke and Putty have stated that they are not looking for one, therefore as long as SoCool is only specific for HG I highly doubt he will get SMOD. We could all give endless reasons why he should be SMOD, but obviously none of it matters else he would be an SMOD right now.

Brawl should be promoting you and Jay asap. They have no reason not to, besides the fact that they have ignored everything the two of you have done for the server.
Its blatantly obvious to everyone else that you two do a **** ton for the server.

Jay, Melvin and socool deserve to be promoted imo. They all would fit the role perfectly and having 5 Smods + 3 admins (excluding yin) should allow for so much more to get done. More events, faster responses to higher up requests and help solidify this good trend happening now. Regarding the WW people wanting one, I personally don't see a valid candidate on there atm, but having the 8 higher ups should be enough to fill in the gap, at least temporarily.
