Algelier Development Log #1

Hello brawlers!
As you all might know if you’ve been there since 2015, @MrWaffleman started development logs to keep the community aware of backend decisions or information not written in the official Brawl News.
However and unfortunately, he stopped writing them although this was a great idea. But consequently I am carrying on sharing development logs for the community—with a minimum of omerta on private things such as progress on non-released servers, money stuff or backend private permission that we are aware of.

These threads are not going to be every month, if there’s a significant information to share with the community, then I’ll write a thread.

Without further ado, let’s start!

On the 9th of May 2017, another option has been added to the appeal form as a type. You can now select this option if you haven’t abided to our rules and been punished (for instance advertising other Discords on the official one which results in a permanent ban).

Note: This rule is brand new (26th of March 2017) so make sure you don’t bypass that rule!

This option can be now selected through the type of appeal:

The day after, a former staff member has joined us in the staff team, you must be knowing that name since it’s very popular around Brawl—his name is @ritzy, a new Junior Moderator for WarZ! We all wish you good luck again buddy. But besides that, KitBrawl has lengthily been up without moderators who directly come from this server, that is why @Removers has been promoted to Junior Moderator for KitBrawl.

Let’s keep announcing promotions. After the resignation of @0racle, Raid was left without any manager to be focused on. But on the 15th of May 2017, the higher staff members gave their trust in @Eil and promoted him to Senior Moderator for Raid.

Among with fresh new Brawl Junior Moderators, two joined us in the staff team not long ago. Their names? You must know them already— @JayOG and @Chilled_67. The first one for KitBrawl and the other for Wild West!

As you must have noticed on Teamspeak if you were there on the 20th of May at 3 PM EST because there was a big staff meeting where we could talk about future projects for Brawl and where each staff member was capable of asking whatever question they thought tangible for everyone:

The Build Team @chickenputty has also changed the lobby a little (thanks @Theo92160_) —instead of portal encircled by blocks, we now an open and green gamemode selection:

There has been a little adjustment with the monthly server ranks—down to $5; $10; $15 from $6; $11; $16.
