Eh, in my opinion: dwarf, necro, elf, assassin, ninja. What's wrong with heavy though? ;-;

Not exactly sure that dwarf is used because of ninja, but ye, it is one of the more effective ways of stopping a ninja. Actually, probably the most effective way.

It used to be like you could pearl into the engi turret, stand right next to it, and it wouldn't fire at you. If you stood right next to it with any class it wouldnt fire. You could also remove any structure while remaining invis. Now none of those things can happen. Fun, right?

I love how I put out an actually decent/good engi rework that just needed some minor modifications and I got a total of 1 mod responses, also saying it was pretty good. And then nothing. Because brawl is soooooo good and soooooo different from MCPVP, staff-player relationship-wise. Meaning they don't listen to the community 9/10 times and do their own thing, or nothing at all.
Sorry staff people, but that's what it looks like. If you don't want it to look that way, you could try TELLING us what you're doing about it, perhaps a time of when it will be released and what exactly it will do and help. That would get us off of your arses and complain less about bs stuff like engineer and dwarf. And, with some regret in my words but also a knowing experience, archer.


Just expanding upon the archer subject, there's another thing we should consider: soldiers. While soldier did get a nerf recently, that nerf reeeaaallly didnt do much to affect it. It can still get to unreachable places by 90% of other classes and avoid being killed entirely. One of the best and only counters to Soldier is archer. Archer is a HUGE factor on recovering against soldiers. Because face it, very few times has a soldier died to a class other than archer when it has a medic supporting. Assassin isn't reliable because again, the soldier can just climb. Climbing involves blocking, also. Pyro also isn't reliable for the same reason. You could do it by soldier recovering, but they'll probably get a medic before you kill them anyway. Ninja will die in 3-4 hits after having to pearl everywhere the soldier spams climb. Ssoooooooo I suggest they think about ctf as a whole before they go nerfing everything. Kind of the difficult part about trying to balance the game.

 

Heavy is by far the most balanced, so it is last on priorities, because its fine the way it is.

Exactly brandino. Thats the main reason i disagree with these complaints against archer, its not a balanced class, but I dont see it being nerfed/reworked in any way that removes its instakill UNTIL other classes get reworked as well. Cause lets face it, no one would of recovered if i didnt spam shoot the flag carriers camping at the castle spawn on kingdom islands(just an example of how op flag carrier defense is, i got a 10ks in 10 seconds from spam shooting at the flag carrier camping)

Heavy gets a buff in 1.9 with diamond swords buff of a heavy strike when fully charged. I feel like thatd be an awesome buff to heavy if its kept in.

I'm honestly not sure heavy needs a buff or nerf or anything at all done to it. It has a great place in the game, having no special abilities, being a tank against other classes with few special abilities and/or low armor, and being vulnerable to classes which do have special abilities. Three steaks is a nearly perfect number to keep it alive for a decent time, and though its damage output is high, it's not unreasonable--a buffed heavy is even a good reward for some form of teamwork.

I completely agree with mh here, I've said this point a number of times in chats over time and he just completely summed it up. I'm a bit late to the party but excellent job.

Engi is ok atm, could be made better, but still in a better position than from a while ago
