i already talked to tom (socool) about this. he said that when (if i am) i am accepted i can leave team bravo

 

Not only Tom gets a say in this, there are other council members which does get a vote.

That doesn't actually mean a whole lot. Assuming this is a democracy, which I believe is the case, tom isn't the only person with a say in this. The others might well want you to leave the team before they would consider accepting you. In reality, he has no more sway than any of the other members. It's not just about 1. He might have said it, but that doesn't necessarily mean that that's what everyone else wanted too

 

Ah, I thought he meant something else. I was just saying if I am accepted I will leave my current team then.

normally you leave a team then apply for another team, or else it means your still in the last team..
