Resignation Another One Bites the Dust

Ey, I'm not entirely sure if this resignation was expected or not. Regardless, I'm resigning from the staff team. I'm not leaving because of difficulties within the staff team, community, or anything else regarding the server really. I'm leaving solely because I want to prioritize my real life over this. However as of late I've had complications regarding activity in-game and on the forums. I feel it would be best to resign now and not become a member that vanishes one day and wastes a mod spot. This includes my position as Build Team manager.
Funny enough how Brawl was the first server I've became a moderator on and most likely the last.

Now, of course, there's more in-depth reasons to my resignation apart from prioritization.

Explanation:

School -
Shocker, I know. In all seriousness work has been gradually getting more difficult as school work naturally does. I wont get into specifics about this as everyone probably already gets the jist of it.
Sports -
Honestly, this combined with school work keeps me very busy away from Brawl. With baseball, weight training, and track starting up soon I don't have much free time. I'd much rather practice and improve my skills in these activities than sitting in my room for hours on end playing Minecraft.
Lack of Interest -
I've slowly lost interest in Brawl overall. Considering the most enjoyment I've gotten out of Minecraft was building, it was only a matter a time before I just ran out of any ideas and motivation for building from the lack of updating to 1.9+ I've ranted enough about how absurd I find people's tantrums over 1.9+ are so I wont continue with it. With the few times I have joined Brawl as of lately all I've done was spend 10-20 minutes or so either helping people or banning hackers. I haven't gotten incentive to actually play and have a good time in a quite awhile.


Community Mentions:

@Build Community - You are all a bunch of toxic, meme-loving, insane, stubborn, borderline psychopathic children that I had to whip into shape daily. Regardless, you've been a real treat to moderate. I genuinely enjoyed all the times I had to publicly shame all of you because of the insane things you thought were good ideas. From starting a hive mind and infecting the server, to making me read fanfics in discord, it's been enjoyable dealing with you brats. Try not to scare absolutely every new player away. You'll have to bully another staff member from now on.

@CTF Community - Honestly I'm very bittersweet with you. There have been many times I've enjoyed being apart of it and many times I've despised it. If I had to describe this community I would say that you're a bunch of whiny toddlers that hate change. On the contrary, it's commendable how incredibly loyal you are to this gamemode considering how long it has lasted.
It's amazing how close you are all are with each other and it really gives the definition of a true online community. By far you guys are the most dedicated players of Brawl (or McPvP depending on your current salt levels) and that's either a testament to your outstanding loyalty or incredible stubbornness, or both.

Regarding maps, don't expect any from me any time soon. Love or hate my maps, I'm happy that the ones I have created made it in and at least some people enjoy them. I had a blast making them and regardless if you despise them, I'm still proud of it.

@Staff Team - (Most) of you do outstanding work. You truly do care for this server and I'm honored that I worked with you all. I genuinly enjoyed everyone's company. Working with you has been a blast. From building maps, contributing ideas, assisting in any troubles I could, and explaining how worldedit works for the 500th time, I enjoyed every second of it. You guys deal with too much crap for the amount of work you do so this is where you can shine for a bit.
Only criticism I have is that you guys should be more strict with inactive members. Other than that, I believe you do an outstanding job and I wish the best of luck for all of you and this server.

@Build Team - I know I haven't been the best manager with you guys. I've had lots of troubles creating and designating projects but I truly did try my best and I'm glad with all the progress we have managed to do together. You are all talented people and I'm honored that I had the chance to not only be apart of you, but to lead you to make Brawl a better server. I wish the best of luck to all of you and hope your talents don't go to waste. It's been a pleasure working with all of you.

@Brawl Community - Honestly, cut the staff some slack. I know first hand how hard they work and they truly want the best for this server even if you think otherwise. I wont be blind to the problems within the staff team and there are definitely improvements to be made but this in no way means they don't care about the server. Regardless, you guys make Brawl what it is. If you weren't here Brawl wouldn't exist. If you actively play and feel like you don't contribute, remember that you do. Being an active member helps the server more than you think.

Also, for the toxic people, grow up. I honestly don't know if most of you are genuinely just very whiny people in general or are simply trolls. (Assuming the latter) Acting like a toddler online isn't getting you or anybody else anywhere.

Tags. There's way too many people to credit and thank for my time here. As explained before I don't have too much free time to spend a good hour or two for tags. You know who you are and I want you to know I'm thankful for everything you have done for me. I've enjoyed all of our memories. There is, however, a few people who absolutely deserve some praise.

@chickenputty - You are brilliant. Honestly, the amount of work you do daily and the dedication you have for this community, for this server, for everything really is insane. You don't get enough credit for all the work you do. I've enjoyed the things we managed to complete together and I hope that you can further improve this network beyond anything I can imagine. You are an outstanding owner and everyone should know this.

@Lord_Roke - Similar standing with Putty. You are an incredible admin and an essential asset to the entire server. I have also enjoyed all the things we have done together and I know you will further improve the server with your hard work. You are a very fun person but can also be very serious when need be as a true German. It's been truly a pleasure working with you.

@Signatured - Outstanding developer. You don't get enough credit for all the work you do either. Without
you Brawl would be so different. You make up the main building blocks of this server. I'm truly
astonished by your abilities and dedication. As with Roke and Putty, I'm positive that you will continue
to further improve this server.

@Paul (Mario) - Pretty much everything I have said to Sig also applies to you. You seem to get even less credit for the work, however, which is a shame. You do tons of work and you should be praised for it. I truly appreciate all the hard work you have been putting into Brawl and as stated before, I hope to see you further contribute to the server's success.


@Eil - You really should be an admin. You put too much work into this and not enough credit. I've known you before you even were JMod and every instance we've had has been enjoyable (Even creating that maze believe it or not). All I ask of you is that if you "borrow" one of my things make sure to credit me.

Shame that I'm not sticking around long enough to become an SMod for build. Even though I never had the rank I have been managing build the best I could and I feel like I've done a decent job. I'm not entirely sure what will happen regarding build management but I hope I leave a good imprint. Hopefully build gains some more staff soon. I'm not completely leaving Brawl either. I'll still check up on the forums occasionally and maybe pop in in-game every now and then. So if you manage to see me in any of these instances, don't be afraid to say hi.

For the newer staff, don't be discouraged by the higher-than-normal amount of resignations as of late. You applied and have been accepted to make this server a better place for everyone. If you truly want this, please work your hardest to achieve it regardless of what happens. You were accepted for a reason and I wish you the best of luck.

I'm truly grateful for all the memories I have with this community. It surely was a blast, but now I gotta blast.
